On a Sunday afternoon at the T-Lazy 7 Ranch outside
Aspen, some friends and I got together to play a benefit concert
for the Snowmass Chapel. This whole event owed its existence to
a great couple, Harold and Kathy Arnold. They purchased a concert
by the band at another benefit, then donated the concert to the
Snowmass Chapel as a fundrasier.

The afternoon started with a great barbecue lunch
catered by the Hickory House in Aspen. Chowing down are Dan Wheetman,
me, Twirp and Tom Paxton. Standing behind us are Jim Salestrom
and John Gray.

Boy, that barbecue sauce has a kick!! |

First, they feed us, then we have to work for
our lunch!

| It is always great fun to get to play
with Dan... |
...and when the audience gets involved,
it's even more fun!! |

With a little help from Dan and his dobro, Jim
teaches the youngsters
in the audience about "Big Lippin'."

| Our good buddy, Kenn Roberts, showed
up to sing a few songs with us and brought along a trip to the Cystic
Fibrosis Benefit in Annapolis September 13 to auction off. He enlisted
our resident auctioneer, Twirp, and his trusty assistant to help
out. |
