The second weekend of August each year, the Keystone Neighbourhood Company presents a great Bluegrass and Beer Festival in the Events Plaza at River Run in Keystone, Colorado. I was invited to play this year with my friend, Jim Salestrom, who acts as host of the event.
On Saturday, Jim and I opened the event with a little help from a young audience member, Tristan, who has attended the festival for several years.
On Sunday, Jim and I again opened the music with our good friend, Hereford Percy. Hereford and I have known each other for 20 years, played together in a band called Easy Pickin's many years ago in Aspen, and are both avid (read obsessive???) golfers!!
During our Sunday morning set, Jim and I were joined by members of Hereford's great bluegrass band, Southern Exposure, including Gordon Burt on fiddle.

It's always great to see old friends like Ginny and Jim Kreis and meet new ones like Kathy Krieger, Joanie Scheid and Tammy Thurgood.
