Dear John, We look forward to seeing you tomorrow night at the Waxlax Center in our new home town of ... Vero Beach. We were so thrilled to hear that ASPEN was coming to our little town in Florida. We still remember the great nights you played at our home up on Missouri Heights and the concerts John did for the Deaf Camp while I was president of the board. Hope to get to say hello tomorrow. With fond regards, Chalmers and Debra Morse

Dear Stephanie and John, It's been a long time but I think of you each October and remember attending your wedding. I hope all is well with you and that life is treating you well. Stephanie, if you get this please send me an email so that I can "catch up" with you. The kids are all grown up now...it seems like just a year or two ago that you were here visiting us. Merle Linn

John, The Oct. 13th JD tribute concert in Aspen was awesome...a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I hope to repeat next year with the whole family in tow. (Of course, Aspen was already a repeat of the June Nightingala show!) :-) Hope you enjoyed the Aspen & Baltimore photos.

Hi John, We met last year outside of the Limelite Lodge in Aspen. I was there for my first ever John Denver Tribute Week. Our encounter still is one of my favorite memories of that week. Anyway, my wife and I came to Aspen and Snowmass this past July and attended the Snowmass Rodeo where we met Twirp. When he asked if he could play a song for us, I sheepishly asked if he knew any John Denver songs. Apparently he did! I'm not sure why I find it so surprising that he and you are good friends. It seems that the world is indeed a small place so it stands to reason that Colorado is smaller still. LOL. I'm so fortunate to have 'stumbled' upon your website, if it indeed was stumbling. Perhaps I was guided somehow to it. I will be ordering "It's Morning" and some other CD's as well.Perhaps we will meet again in October in Aspen. Thanks for all the goodness that you do and for being a really decent human being.

Here's hoping to get you EAST soon. We need to PLAY SOME MUSIC and hopefully, we will be able to break away and head west before too long. When you see our Geof, tell him we miss him...and what the heck, drag you on over to NC for a visit too! Take good care and keep doing wonderful things for nice people. That makes you just THE BEST!

Hi Mr. and Mrs. Sommers, I thought I'd wander through the interesting site - glad I did. John, where are those images I took of you and Twirp riding the 'rides' at the Mall of America's 'Camp Snoopy'? Those would have been good ones. Ha! Was there a shot of me playing 'Thank God, I'm a Country Boy', on the bagpipe at the Wing's great party? Probably not. Have a grand trip to NZ, I wish Deb and I were going with but we're here in Breckenridge awaiting the birth of our first grand-daughter, then it'll be back to Edina (MN) for us. Have a good time. See you later - I hope. Cheers, Bill

John, I am a huge Liberty fan going back to 1975 when my mom took me to see John Denver in concert. It was one of those rare experiences when the opening act, Liberty, was better than the headliner. We bought your album (I was 12 years old) and I listened to it a million times over the next five or so years. Any hopes of having some Liberty released on CD? BTW, I've been playing guitar and singing for 20 plus years in clubs, etc. I used to play "Honey Be There" and "Song for Wyoming."

Every once in awhile I drop by and pay a visit to ya website......Always great to drop by. Glancing at the 1st page....I read All the Best, John. Now where did I see that before......My brain is working hard trying to remember.....Looked at my bulletin board....there you and Bill Danoff are.....Barbara, All the Best, John Sommers and For Barbara Peace, Bill Danoff, 1999......It was a day back in 1999 at Bill Danoff's Restaurant. It was the year they had the JD tribute in Virginia, and Bill Danoff hosted a luncheon at his restaurant. You autographed a placecard for Country Boy Ribs which had been on the Buffet Table. I'm always glad I went. Such a nice day it was meeting the band and having a enjoyable day with friends. My goodness those autographs have been up on my bulletin board for 6 years now.....just a nice day to remember. All The Best Barbara NYC

I moved to the Roaring Fork Valley nearly 15 years ago from Detroit. John Sommers was the first musician I saw perform on top of Aspen Mountain. John is genuine, down-to-earth and so talented when playing string instruments. I see Sommers and Twirp perform locally whenever I can in the Roaring Fork Valley. John's wife, Stephanie, is a dear friend of mine and I hope to see more of both of them in 2006 and beyond. Love, Pat F.
