Twirp and I were privileged to kick off the River Days events with a gig at the annual Pancake Breakfast. A tradition at the breakfast is the "Bonnet Brigade," a group of Midvalley Seniors sponsored by Eagle County Senior Services.

John Denver Shrine
Aspen Mountain

It has become a tradition in Aspen to honor prominent people with an informal shrine on Aspen Mountain. I understand that Elvis, Marilyn Monroe and Jerry Garcia have shrines there. Fans and friends from all over the world have contributed to the John Denver shrine near the Upper Copper Bowl run.

Working on "Thank God I'm A Country Boy", for Jim Salestrom's CD, Safe Home, with engineer Mark Derryberry, Jim and Hereford Percy (they call this work???).

Most of the cast from the John Denver Tribute Concerts in Aspen, including Bill Danoff, traveled to Austin to play a benefit concert for cystic fibrosis at the One World Theatre. Stephanie and I took advantage of some time off to see the sights of the central Texas hill country.
